'Transition as a Practice'

One Day Retreat with Alit Bar Sadeh & Nina Verbeek

Meeting in difference - A one-day yoga retreat exploring relationship through difference.

In a world where we constantly meet across cultures, languages, and life experiences, relationships become both more delicate and more meaningful.

This 1-day yoga retreat is an invitation to explore how we meet each other in difference.

Through movement, meditation, and shared inquiry, we will look at how our backgrounds shape the way we perceive, interpret, and respond to one another. What we often experience as misunderstanding is not simply a mistake, but a reflection of perspective.

At a time when it can feel easier to withdraw, label, or move quickly to conclusions, this space invites something different. A pause, a softening, a willingness to stay.

Alit Bar Sadeh

An explorer of life, Alit is deeply grateful for every opportunity to observe, grow, and support the growth of others. Her mission is to live fully and authentically - without drama or clichés - cultivating clear and kind seeing, and inspiring others to do the same.

To her, yoga is a viewpoint and a living practice - a way of connecting with ourselves and the world through movement, mindfulness, meditation, and self-inquiry.

With over 12 years of teaching experience, Alit weaves these elements together both on and off the mat, guiding students toward presence and self-awareness with a dynamic, playful, and deeply attentive approach.

A Senior E-RYT 500 Ashtanga and Vinyasa teacher, mentor, and Thai massage therapist, Alit is known for her precise hands-on assists, the depth and clarity of her teaching, and her ability to translate yogic philosophy into grounded, heart-centered practice.

Based in Mallorca, Spain, she leads classes, workshops, retreats, and mentorship programs locally and internationally - inviting her students to explore themselves and life in a mindful, authentic, and meaningful way.

From soil to soul - cooking from the land, guided by the seasons, with Nina Verbeek

From soil to soul - Nina cooks with a deep connection to the land and the seasons. As a retreat chef and creative force at Osa Major, her food celebrates simplicity, colour, and the vitality of fresh, locally grown produce.

With a special love for vegetables and vegetarian cooking from around the world, Nina’s kitchen is a space of curiosity and care - where each dish becomes an expression of creativity, presence, and nourishment. Her approach is intuitive and rooted in balance: flavour, texture, and energy in harmony.

For Nina, cooking is more than preparing food - it’s a practice of listening and reconnection. She sees food as medicine and nourishment as invitation - a way to come home to the body, awaken the senses, and create moments of stillness, joy, and connection through what the earth provides.

Osa Major

Nestled in the heart of Mallorca near the energy-rich town of Sant Joan, Osa Major is a serene, family-run retreat center that blends luxury with sustainability.

Powered by solar energy and nourished by its own garden, this off-grid finca offers panoramic valley views, a hilltop yoga shala, and an infinity pool that melts into the horizon.

Thoughtfully designed with Moroccan touches and surrounded by powerful natural energies, Osa Major provides a peaceful, soulful escape where guests can truly reconnect with nature.

TOGETHER WE'LL EXPLORE:

  • How we relate from habit and from presence
  • The space between surface contact and genuine connection
  • How difference can create both distance and depth
  • The role of curiosity and compassion in meeting another

The day weaves together embodied practice, stillness, and dialogue, offering both personal reflection and shared experience within an international community.

Set in the quiet beauty of Osa Major, this retreat is an opportunity to slow down, listen more deeply, and rediscover relationships as a living, human practice.
